366 days spent loving you.

A video I made for Andrew and I’s one year!

I honestly can not believe it’s already been an entire year since our first date at On the Border! I guess it’s true what they say “time sure flies when you’re having fun”. Looking back on all of our memories, adventures, trips, moves and changes, laughs, tears, and everything we’ve been through in the past 12 months it’s so great to be able to look at back at where we started and where we are now.

Our first three incredible months were the best, and I fell for you hard. And fast. From our countless sleepovers, cuddles, gym sessions, Wal-Mart trips, packs of Oreos, and eating microwave chicken & rice for dinner every night (lol) to your 22nd birthday (big LOL) and our first road trip to Austin and December– the month we started long distance. To now, 9 months of long distance, monthly weekend visits, FaceTime calls that can last anywhere from 3 minutes to 6 hours, lonely nights, long days, and missing each other like crazy. Things haven’t been perfect every single day, I’m not going to lie and say its been easy because that would be false, but I wouldn’t change a single thing! I’d do it all again in a heart beat, a million times over.

I honestly don’t even know what to say in this post, which is strange because I’m typically prety good at the mushy gushy writing! I’m just so happy with where we both are in our lives and our relationship. We continue to grow stronger each and every day. We are different and similiar in a way that meshes very well and we make each other better. I know It’s only been a year but sometimes it’s hard for me to remember what my life was like before I knew you.

I just want to say thank you for being who you are unapologetically. Thank you for opening my eyes and introducing me to things and feelings and views I never knew existed. Thank you for constantly pushing me to be better then I was the day before (even though I sometimes complain about it). Thank you for constantly making me laugh (you’re still not funny),  comforting me when I cry, and always having my back. Thank you for always always always believing in me, especially when I don’t believe in myself. Thank you for loving me so so well, and loving me even when I’m not very loveable. Thank you for being my best friend.

Here’s to 1 year down, and a million more to go! Te amo Andrew.
