2017 -Motivational Monday

It’s a week into the new year and I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything on here! I have seriously been slacking so much! But I have been trying to enjoy life more and live in the moment. Spend less time in my room or on my computer and more time outside in the sun and more time with friends.

In my last post I talked about a lot of changes I was experiences, the biggest one was probably my break up with Andrew.. and I know I said I was going to be writing a post about it but I think I’ve changed my mind. It’s still very fresh and honestly still very very complicated. And it’s just something I need to keep private, at least for now.

And, today is 50 days until I am 21! I can not waittt to turn 21! It’ll be so nice to not be the baby of my friend group anymore and to no longer be the Debby downer! There will also always be something to do on Saturday night! 🙂

For this week’s Motivational Monday I wanna talk about new beginnings (I think it’s fitting for the New Year).

“You will put the ‘star’ in start over and over and over.”

People always wait for the New Year or a new week or a new month to start their diet or start going to the gym or change something in their life. But the reality is you don’t need a new anything to become new yourself. You can start in the middle of the week or in the middle of the day. All you have to do is decide, just decide what you wanna do and how you’re gonna do it and that’s it. Do things that make you happy and be somebody who makes you happy. Surround yourself with people who make you happy and choose to be happy, everyday. There will be many “start overs” for you throughout the year. Take each one on with confidence and push yourself forward every time. Some of these start overs may be unwanted, they may not be your choice, they may be painful and shitty and hard. Some if these start overs may be wanted, they may be something you choose for yourself, and they may be wonderful life changing start overs. Always remember, you will put the star in start over and you will survive.

I hope 2017 is treating you all well so far! Have a great week and concur everything you encounter with gratitude and a smile!
