All that I’m after is a life full of laughter…

“Laughter truly is the best medicine for the soul.”

I remember reading this quote years and years ago and it’s always stuck with me ever since. I love love love laughing. Laughing until you cry, laughing until you’re gasping for air, all red faced and slapping your thigh or table or whatever. I love when you’re laughing with a friend and you both stop laughing, look at each other, and start cracking up again.

This week was the first three day weekend of the year and also my first road trip of the year! I went to Fredricksburg, TX with two of my friends for the weekend and it was such a good trip! One of my friends who came on the trip, Ellie, and I are just so funny when we are together. We have the same humor and we get just get along so well. Our last night away we were all hanging out in our hotel room watching Pitch Perfect and drinking wine and Ellie and I were just laughing and laughing and laughing for no reason. And that is the best type of laughter. Our entire trip was full of laughter from the moment we started our drive to the moment we arived back home and I am so thankful for that. It’s been a wild few weeks of change and adjustments and mixed/up and down emotions so getting away for the weekend was just excatly what I needed. It is only January 16th and already this year has been full of fun, friends, adventure, and trying tons of new things. I know this year is going to be such a year of growth for me in all aspects of my life and I cant wait to look back on this year and admire everything I will have encountered.

Hope you all have a fantastic 4 day week!

Here are a few pictures from our weekend! 🙂
