The second sentence in the quote above really speaks to me “it’s waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints”. Like hell yes, that is so freakin true! So many people wake up hating Mondays but why?! It’s a brand new week, and fresh start, 7 new days of opportunities to do whatever you wish! I used to be someone who would always be wishing for the weekend, and while we all love Friday-Sunday it is so important to be able to be the type of person who makes the best out of a Tuesday. Live for the little things. Own each day and make the best out of whatever life throws at you.
I challenge you to try this for one week. Wake up on Monday and allow yourself to make no complaints, have no negative thoughts. Do this for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well. See how it affects your mood, attitude, and outlook. Then, try it for a month. And then three months. Try it for a year. Of course, not even single day is going to be happy-go-lucky without a care in the world because bad and shitty things do happen. You can not always control what happens to you, but you can ALWAYS control how to react to it and how you let it affect you. If you stick with this challenge I bet you will notice after some time it is no longer as big of a challenge. You will wake up on a Monday smiling effortlessly. You will enjoy everyday in between the weekends, not just special occasions. You will begin to see a transformation of your life and general happiness. And then you can watch how that affects the people around you. Be so happy that when others look at you, they become happy too.
